Glenn Henniker
Principal Solicitor
Mr Henniker has over thirty years experience as a solicitor and is experienced in personal injury, family law, criminal law, business law and Supreme Court Equity proceedings; which he finds very interesting.
The Equity Division of the Supreme Court is based on very old principles which allowed a King or Queen to make a different fairer decision if the black letter law was too harsh. In todays world, Equity Court matters include cases such as making challenges against Wills if they seem to be unfair. The Supreme Court also provides a system for people who may have entered a business or personal relationship with another person, to make a claim to recover financial benefits that were promised too them then not delivered. Judges have swung back more towards less changes made to Wills, but there is always scope to challenge Wills in some cases.
Mr Henniker enrolled in the University of New South Wales Arts Law Degree program but changed to the University of Technology, Sydney to enable him to study part-time and work full-time for Dibbs Crowther and Osborne Solicitors in Martin Place, Sydney. He then returned to the South Coast where he grew up.
Mr Henniker is a family man who is very thankful for the support his wife of 40 years. They enjoy the company of their two children and five grandchildren with the expectation of more to follow. They also enjoy movies, live theatre, including musicals and Mr Henniker is a fan of various Australian sporting teams.
